Dude, they faked a punt. In the first quarter. From their own 20.

Go sell this bidness elsewhere. The fact that they quit early had everything to do with being down 28-0 about 18 minutes into the game.

Dallas is a better team than Seattle, right now,

The Seahawks have been beating up on average to below average teams during their recent streak. Russell Wilson is still way too inconsistent.

That being said, I think Seattle will win the NFC because they have home-field. Sucks for Dallas, considering the Cowboys already beat them up there. The tie-breaking rules are very unfortunate.

This is irrelevant, not only is it the NFL but also Dallas hasn't played much better competition.
I'm not arguing the point you're trying to make, but you can't use that to support your argument.
Dallas-Seattle would be a damn good game.

Only NFC team I do not want the Steelers to match up against in the SB. Not afraid to admit it. Skeered.

...yeah maybe so .... offense = about average , defense = pretty damn stout.
That can win a lot of games , though ... as we all know , right ? Yeah , you sure told us !

Dude. How can you say any of that? You think Arizona x2, division-leading (at the time) Philadelphia, and San Francisco are "average to below average"? Also, if that's your argument, then who - pray tell - has Dallas beaten? Chicago? Washington? C'mon, man.

I guess for some people (read: Dallas fans) the only way for Seattle to prove themselves is to repeat as Super Bowl champions. We'll see who makes it further, Dallas or Seattle.

Something tells me you'll be using the home-field advantage excuse, hard. Even though you fail to admit Seattle's the best (in order to have earned that #1 seed). Anyways. . .

Dallas can win again in Seattle if the weather is good
Green Bay can win again in Seattle if Rodgers is healthy

Will it happen.......NOOOOOO

But Seattle didn't earn it. Dallas finished with the same record and beat Seattle head to head in their building. Seattle got the #1 seed only through a fortuitous series of events which led to a three way tie between Dallas, GB and themselves which removed the head to head from the equation.

If Dallas and Seattle were the only 12-4 teams, Dallas has the #1 seed.

While I favor GB in some ways, I think it will be much like the first game of the season. GB was giving up good yards to Joique Bell. I think Marshawn is going to be beastly. I think Seattle will probably be representing the NFC for the Super Bowl.

Um, yes they did. They're the #1 seed.

There will be a lot more "ifs" before the Cowboys' season is over. You'll probably find a way to say they're still the best team, even after they lose in the playoffs (hopefully to Seattle). Can't wait.

I'm really happy that you were right about this, since you said that the lions would piss their season away and then you ran away from the thread

Actually there are a few every year but if we are just talking playoffs there could be zero this year!

I didn't run away from anything. I said they would lose all their games in the Dolphins-Cards-Pats stretch. They lost 2/3 of them. In the "bold predictions" thread, I boldly predicted that they'd miss the playoffs. I was wrong. If that thread popped up again, either I missed it or didn't see the need to post in it again. But I didn't "run away" from anything.

The Lions will still be one and done in the playoffs. You can quote me on that.

If one were so inclined, they could have a field day with your prognostications...you are one small step above a betting hotline, throw enough stuff out there and something is bound to be correct. The fact you need to continuously remind this board of your "predictions" is pretty pathetic.

This is a fricking bold prediction...especially since Suh isn't playing.

Cowboys are winning it. They are the best team in the NFL right now.
