They had 148 yards rushing in the first half. Their season high for an entire game was 153 before today.

Who is the absolute must-have in the 2015 draft? There is no Andrew Luck in the draft and both Mariota and Winston come with risks.

They threw only THREE forward passes in the second half of football.

They TANKED . . . and the 2014 Saints STILL barely beat them.

The 2014 Saints should be remembered as 6-10, not 7-9.

Exactly. It was clear that they were going to win the game at the Half. So, the GM and HC talked and decided to TANK for the first pick.

Um, who cares? They were going to get the first or second pick. I really don't give a shite. It bothers me that they tanked AND the Saints still barely beat them.

frick this Saints team.

Probably because the Saints tried to tank too. The Bucs were just better at it

Upvote for your accurate assessment of the 2014 Saints.

This is one of the worst Saints teams of all time. NO heart. No guts. No desire.

The 1-15 team is the worst Saints team of all time, but the 2014 team is definitely one of the worst.

I hold Coach Sean Payton personally responsible for this debacle, and, I wish I could tell him to his face.

It's disappointing because people are beginning to think that our defense looked good in this game and "bounced back" in the second half.

I'm so sick of you inept fricktards ragging on the defense. Brees threw 6 interceptions to the Buccs this season. 6. Half of them in this game. One of them in the first quarter. How many first quarter and game changing picks did Brees throw this season? And how many of them after the defense came up with a big stop or a three and out? It's atleast 6 off the top of my head.

Our defense can't play offense too. We'll maybe they can. They certainly couldn't be worse than the predictable dog shite unmotivated lack luster bafflingly below average offense Payton trotted out on the field the whole season.

if we have to fire Ryan or Payton at this point, I'd say we fire Payton. Or at the very least we need a solid offensive coordinator who can put together a game plan. Last season we thought he was just shaking the dust off, but this season it is obvious that Payton has lost his magic. He needs to give the reigns to a new offense coordinator and go back to focusing on on field discipline and motivation. Both of which were extremely lacking this year.

Yep.

Payton owes us fans 1,000 push-ups for his complete lack of results this season when it came to him being a LEADER.

He'd better man the frick up in this department, in my humble opinion, of course.

This. If the were tanking, they wouldn't have built a two score lead.

They pulled a professional tank.

Look good in the first half, then throw ~3 passes in the second half. Those sacks in the last series clinched the 1st pick.

They tanked and did it well, too.

I'm not saying they didn't tank, but there is a reason they only threw 3 passes in the 2nd half.

We put them inside their own 20 4x in the 2nd half. They were put in 3rd and long situations due to penalties or losses and had the lead while deep in their own territory.
Or, they were put in 3rd and 1 situations and couldn't convert. Then, they had a drive shortened b/c of an interception. The other drive they were unable to convert a 3rd and 1.

The situation dictated conservative play due to the lead and field position.

They didn't hold him out. He hurt himself celebrating after his touchdown. Either a pulled hammy or a knee

Also,if they did tank, does the first pick mean that much compared to the 2nd?

They'll probably screw it up anyway.

ETA: I just hope they keep Loveeeeee.
