Could be that the Bucs intentionally TANKED in the 2nd half?

I have a hunch that the Bucs only threw three passes in the second half because they wanted to lose the game and win the first draft pick.

Had that Bucs kept the first half game plan for four quarters, they would have won the game. But, they did NOT want to win that game, so, they changed the game plan to lose.

The 2014 Saints should really be 6-10.

They absolutely tanked. Put on a good show in the first half and started pulling players and being extremely conservative.

Our defense got a safety. A safety!

They tanked so well it looked like they just sucked.

Just a hunch.

Really, this Saints team deserves to be 6-10.

9-7 does not really illustrate the depth of their depraved ineptitude and haplessness.

The 2014 Saints suck to levels of suckage not seen in decades.

Oh yes no doubt Bucs took one for the team, and was rewarded with the first pick in the 2015 draft.

I get where you are coming from, but why wouldn't you run the ball when you are up 13 points after the half?

This. If the were tanking, they wouldn't have built a two score lead.

2 minutes to go, needing a FG, against our defense, and they went backwards into a safety.

I rest my case.

They held Evans out in the second half. All I need to know.

Yeah they were up 2 TDs at the start of the 4th, and still up 6 with under 2 minutes left. They did what they were supposed to and grinded clock. And it worked throughout the 3rd and most of the 4th.

It's disappointing because people are beginning to think that our defense looked good in this game and "bounced back" in the second half.

The Bucs mailed this one in and let us have the game in the second half, and because of it, players and coaches are going home with a false sense of resilience.

It takes serious effort to have 32 yards in a half against this defense.

he's been battling injuries for most of the year.

but yeah... I thought the same thing towards the end of the game.

Tampa had been playing hard the last few weeks so I started to wonder... now we're stuck with the lucky #13 pick in the draft.

Party.

In my opinion we lost twice today. Got a worse pick in the draft and were getting beating badly by another shitty team.

Tbh the reason we were down 13 wasn't nevessarily because of Evans. Even though he scored, they had probably around 100 yards rushing in the first half alone. Sims and Martin killed us in the first half.
