The New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. is not the only rookie receiver from LSU to have a standout season in 2014. Jarvis Landry also appears to have a bright future with the Miami Dolphins.
Beckham and Landry will be checking each other's statistics after Sunday to see which one finishes the season with more catches for the season. Both are tied for the rookie lead with 79.
"Jarvis called me the other day and we were talking about that," Beckham said, via NJ.com. "He was saying, 'You've got to go hard Sunday.' I know how he is coming. I know how he is. It is a loving competition. I am looking forward to Sunday."
The Giants play noon Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Dolphins play noon Sunday against the New York Jets.

And this board tried to make us believe that you had to be over 6 ft tall to be a good receiver!

The New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. added to an already-strong offensive rookie of the year campaign Sunday with 12 catches for 185 yards and another highlight-worthy touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Those totals helped the former LSU receiver set an NFL record for most receiving yards in his first 12 games, and he also joined Michael Irvin as one of only two receivers with more than 90 receiving yards in nine straight games.
Beckham, limited to 12 games after he missed the first four with hamstring issues, will end the season with 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.
His totals set Giants rookie records for catches and touchdowns, NJ.com reported.
Beckham also ended the season with the most catches among rookie receivers. He began Sunday tied with former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry, now with the Miami Dolphins. Both had 79.
Landry ended the season with 84 catches after he caught five for 55 yards Sunday against the New York Jets.
