Obviously Jimbo Fisher has been the most successful coach to have learned the game under Miles, but who are some of the other lesser-known members of the Les Miles coaching tree?

Jimbo learning from Miles?

Jimbo was at LSU from 00-06.
Les has only been head caoch since 2001. But gundy was his OC from 01-04.

Good, so we've got Fisher and Pelini so far. Let's flesh this bitch out.

dang, so the Miles Tree (TMT) includes two national titles and a coach that many believe deserved to go to the game in '11.
Slow your roll, haters.

I'm sure the downvotes will flow but porter did recruit much of that talent that took Memphis to a bowl game this year
monken is well regarded and Gundy is in certain circles

Sorry, but this thread is horrible - being a coaching mentor is not one of Miles' strong points.
His coaching tree looks like a typical Gumps family tree - only a couple branches, and weak.

Did he bring any of his coaches from Oklahoma State with him to LSU? I can't remember.

JImbo is not on miles tree. he was a saban guy who hung around. I can assure you he didn't take anything from miles aside from how not to run an offense.

Jimbo is on Saban's tree not Miles'
