Weird Fan Bases: Penn State

With nothing to do about the kiddie raping scandal...
How weird is the Penn State fan base? People are like cultish and delusional about their school from all my interactions with their fans. Like Penn State could do no wrong as an institution.

i went to bama a few years ago when penn state came to town to watch the game. All of their fans seemed nice to me. Had no issues at all and nothing seemed out of the the ordinary, like any other college fan base.

If every single one of them was weird, perhaps you are the problem.
Never had a problem with PSU or their fans and there are lots where I'm from.

The LSU fanbase is fickle. Many of them act is if Miles is Derek Dooley. But if you suggest any coach besides Saban is as good or better than Miles, then many of them freak out and call you idiot. Mark Richt may as well be John L. Smith.

When Penn State played Alabama a few years ago, the PSU fans trashed their section of The Quad. Worst fancies I've ever seen in Tuscaloosa.
