@BruceFeldmanCFB: Al Golden's last 19 games at #Miami: the #Canes are 8-11.. 7 of those losses have come against unranked teams.

quote:

@MarkEnnis: Rough. RT @ByTimReynolds: Five straight bowl losses for Miami. 56-45 record the last eight seasons. 32-32 in ACC play over that span.

Even with sanctions, scandals, or whatever how hard is it to win at Miami?

Because Miami is clinging on to dear life and no one should want to coach there.

Miami football is irrelevant in today's landscape and no one really cares enough to change that.

I brought this up in another thread. Golden has 9 losses now against teams that finished unranked.

Also, seems Miami would have done better remaining in the Big East. Entirety of CFB would look differ had this happened

First you have the sanctions. Then you have FSU and florida basically splitting all the top talent. There's no choice but to let this train wreck ride. Nobody good is going to want that job.

They don't even have a winning record in ACC play under him. That's pathetic. He's done worse than Muschamp against an easier schedule.

Fire Miles!

It cracks me up how so many people want to get rid of Miles and absolutely nothing keeping LSU turning into a program like Miami

Sorry for the hijack n

I don't know why people keep bringing this up.

its very hard to win when for basically three or four years, the NCAA kept fricking them with the threat of sanctions

Da U shouldn't be that hard to turn around if you recruit the area properly. The admin could be a huge problem though if they don't want to commit to fixing the program. Im surprised the alums aren't raising hell. Goldens first move in the offseason should be throwing the bank at the bama oline coach.

I think going forward Miami can be good again now that the whole situation with the NCAA is done. if al is the right guy for the job, he needs to start winning now

That asshat Braden Gall that always dogs on Miles, called Golden "elite" before the 2013 season, when arguing with an LSU fan on twitter

IMO unless we have a huge demographic shift in talent DA U is always a threat to rise up and have monster years. The next coach needs to study how past great teams were built. You out recruit south florida and you have a winner.

You'd be surprised at how many players on their past great teams weren't from south FL actually.
