Butchie for me

Because he wasn't really in the game, more like a third party observer/civilian.

Wallace, Omar, prop Joe, Sobatka, Deangelo, and Bodie were all in the game so you knew they were liable to get whacked, but a blind man earning a living working a bar getting tortured then murdered in cold blood... That was more difficult to stomach than the others.

Butchie wasn't some innocent either. Remember that he was dealing to that corrupt prison guard in S2 and was responsible for the hot shots that killed a bunch of inmates.

The Carver and Randy scene gets me everytime.

Carver can't live up to his end of the bargain and Randy is now fricked.

But Wallace going down was painful

Me neither, but it's all part of the game, yo.

I secretly wished that Ziggy Sobatka would've caught one to the dome, but it never panned out. Seems unjust that Omar went out the way he did and that shitbird Ziggy got a pass.

Sorry but had to bump this old thread......

After doing a rewatch of the series, Wallace was the hardest death to watch by far. Mostly because he was just a lost kid that was confused about Tha Game. All he ever did was deal drugs, but the dead body fricked him up mentally and he wanted out. After he realized the country life wasn’t for him, he fricked himself royally by coming back. It was almost like he forgot that he snitched on everyone?

But what made his death so hard to watch was the slow burn leading up to it. Him crying and pissing his pants made it so goddam sad because you knew this kid didn’t know what he was doing. That shite was hard as hell to watch again. At least Bodie went down fighting and knew what the outcome was likely gonna be.

My favorite death? Cheese

My least favorite death - Bodie.

Why? Bodie was a soldier. He didn't have to go out like that.

Close though, with Omar. Although, to be honest, Omar brought it on himself - he had no team, so no one had his back.

It was hard, but that was the perfect death for Omar.

Bodie was the hardest, one of my favorite characters who goes down like a champ

My answer as well.

He's my favorite character in the show I think. And he was a boss on his way out.

I think what happened to Randy was worse. Probably the toughest thing to watch from the series.

Randy is my answer to this thread. I know he didn’t die but the person randy was when season 4 was murdered by no fault of his own. That last scene was absolutely heart breaking

Yeah Wallace has to be the answer.

It was heartbreaking seeing that kid that wasn’t cut out for the game beg his friends to spare his life. In front of a Tupac poster to boot

While I liked Bodie more, and his death sucked to see, he went out on his own terms. Like a soldier. It was a fate he pretty much always knew he’d come to and didn’t fear it, so it wasn’t as sad as Wallace, a kid that wasn’t cut out for the game. Bodie was the game.

Heard something the other day about this death. The writers saw him as the key figure of the chess metaphor in season 1.

Bodie dies in a chess move. I don’t know shite about chess but it was something about a knight killing a pawn and that’s how the scene was framed

Hadn’t heard that before but it makes complete sense.

That scene really does lay the whole game out. And it just keeps playing out over and over on a loop with different players.

That chess scene is what originally hooked me into the show. Just brilliant writing.

Saw spoilers , but clicked too soon. Immediately backed out. Then said you know what , I bet it's Wallace because I saw season 1. Clicked back on it. I was right and judging by upvotes everyone else agreed too.
