Fox News is awful.

But I watch it, so I disagree with the above. A lot of people (not me) don't make time to read a bunch of different sources, so cable news is how they keep current. I won't blame them or call them stupid.

Now if Megyn Kelly got you so riled about about Marines locked up in Mexico or Bundy being upset he can't graze for free anymore that you posted it on social media, I agree, you're dumb and weak minded.

I just watched an hour of Fox News and found it to be incredibly substantive television. Where else can we get a 15 minute discussion about the pros and cons of the NRLB "McDonalds" dictates and the Union/State conspiratorial attempt to coerce small business owners. That effects a hundred thousand plus people and FOX is the only outlet that is giving it any coverage.

That said, I'm turning football on now.

Be sure to watch the Indy Bowl. It's raining here and I doubt if 20K people will show up.

MSNBC pays Sharpton to be a "political analyst". That is reason enough for me to stay away from that station. As for Fox, as catnip notes, at least O'Reilly & Kelly gives the other side air time to present their perspective. And for the most part, Williams, Beckle & Geraldo et all usually get the final response. Just when was the last time that any conservative was given air time on MSNBC? Fox is not my only source of the news, but with flipping back & forth between it & CNN, I feel I am getting a good balance of information. As for the networks, ABC, et al, it took them over a wk before any of them made any reference to Gruber. And all 3 gave the Democratic Senate's Intel Committee hrs of air time. The CIA's response? Bare to none.

their satellite radio station?

I was raised a Fox News junkie, but post college I've just learned to hate all of the stations collectively. It's mind-boggling what Fox can spoon feed successful folks like my parents and their friends/business partners on a daily basis

I'm a Librtarian, and a lot of my parents friends are quick to label me a "lib" off basic suggestions such as scaling back our outrageous military budget. Social issues are not discussed, as we are a "Christian nation" first and foremost

whatever, both sides are full of shite. I just wished my parents would have told me earlier about it though

eta: I still watch Stossel and the occasional Red Eye episode, so it's not all that bad

I live outside of the USA and I can honestly say all of the US based news is biased. Fox is the only conservative channel, which identifies with about 50% fo the US population. Yet, ll of the other channels are liberal biased.

If you do not see the overwhelming left leaning liberial biased in the US news, you are not objective and looking at it with an honest lens.

Hell, Russia Today and Al Jazerra have better reporting on USA based news, without the strong bias to the left or right.

(begin serious sound effects with frightening background music)

Why does Tigerfan56 hate America? Is the number 56 a reference to when the communists crushed uprisings in Poland and Hungary? Stay with us to find out!

I agree, both are equally bad on opposite ends of the spectrum. Thank God none of either the past 2 weeks. I am in Europe.
My husband is having Fox News withdrawal actually is seems to be a little more sane.

Fox may make less attempts at legitimacy

With a couple of exceptions (e.g., the five), FNC runs straight news programs from 9am-10pm. MSNBC runs Hannity-equivalent programs during that entire timespan. Someone claiming the two are "equally bad" is not "middle of the road."

you mean all the time.

What you both mean is that FNC doesn't go 100% lock step with the DNC and actually reports on things that show the failures of the Obama admin instead of ignoring them.

Your favorite stations are the "Baghdad Bobs" of breaking news.

Fox is hilarious. When support for the Iraq War plummeted, they moved to Aruba for a year to cover a missing teen. Rupert Murdoch is trolling the world.
