I will be in Southampton Sunday and they play Chelsea. Will it be difficult to find tickets to the game?

I would assume at this close to the game tickets would be hard to find without paying well over face. But I've never tried.

I don't mind paying some over face value. Is there anything like stubhub, nfl ticket exchange, or people on the street selling tickets?... Thanks for the info

scalping or touting is almost non existent

there are secondary sites that partner with some teams like spurs and stub hub, dont think southampton has that

viagogo is used by quite a few teams.

You can definitely get tickets if you are willing to pay. There will be scalpers and you just have to make sure you are buying legit tickets.

If you are there for a trip, then seeing your team live in England means there is basically no price threshold to getting into the game, IMO. I saw Fulham v. Chelsea this past March and it was totally worth it.

Fiorentina was easy...bought from the ticket office.

Saw Hamburg and we bought those ahead of time with viagogo.

I bought a ticket from a "touter" if that is what they are called for an FA Cup Semi a few years ago and the way this shade ball acted was like we were doing a deal for a million pounds of coke. It was bizarre and a bit unsettling.

I don't know if that's just because it was London/Wembley or what but it was certainly not the same simple experience as scalping a ticket in the states.

Try to secure one before you go.

Call the office. I've seen several games in Europe and it really depends on the organization. Arsenal is gay and makes you purchase a membership before you can purchase tickets. A lot of teams just use viagogo as others have mentioned. For a fulham game I just bought tickets online from the team site. In Italy I used viagogo. For a game in Holland I saw Nijmegen play and there was some issue with getting tickets (either needing a membership or some other issue) and I just emailed the team and said I was a huge fan from the states who would be in town and was wondering if I could buy tickets. Nijmegen is a small club and they emailed me back and told me they would have tickets waiting for me at the gate. Suckers. I was there to cheer on Jozy Altidore and AZ Alkmaar

If you get desperate try looking up ticket exchange facebook pages for the specific club. Arsenal has one like that and it's not terribly hard to buy tickets that way, but again I would get tickets verified by the gate people before giving anyone cash.

If you somehow end up getting a ticket, DO NOT cheer for the away team if you sit with the home crowd. You'll get thrown out and possible mugged.

The game he wants is sold out and probably has been for a while. Southampton doesn't have a deal with a secondary company. Picking random sites can be shady as frick with fake tickets. Best bet is a message board or fb page.

I'm actually trying to find away tickets for the game at Spurs bc my parents are in town and I wana take my dad to a united match.
