Just tested positive for flu type A

Never had it before, just started symptoms last night. I honestly don't feel awful, just body aches and sore muscles and congestion.
Shouldn't I have fever or sore throat? Started tami flu and took some Advil
What is my timeline like in the upcoming days? I did get my flu shot. Have a family Xmas party tomorrow night. Can I drink?

If you caught it early Tamiflu will help to speed up the recovery process.

If before the fever erupted, you should be good with Tamiflu. If not, full blown flu for you...sorry.

Type A is the worst. They grade them from A to Z with A being the worst and Z being the easiest. They say A is almost equal to Ebola or Aids or something.

Get better. Flu season sucks. My lungs always fill up now (I blame my 20s). Sometimes I have to get breathing treatments now. Oh I dread the flu season.

How did you test positive already? Your first symptom was last night and you already went to a DR for tests?

Had it 2 weeks before Christmas
Try to avoid congestion in chest, at all costs.
Never had sore throat but did run a low-grade fever first few days.
Do NOT go to family party....

Don't drink beer. Drink tons of water. Aches, fever, chills, sweats, burny eyes, stuffy nose, can't breathe or sleep well or even truly be awake.
