Russ is one of the fastest players I've ever seen on a basketball court

Wall. Longer stride will have him pulling away.

Neither of them are as fast as LeBron was.

I think Wall could win a foot race, but Russ would win about any other athletic competition.

FWIW, Russ Westbrook ran the 3/4 court sprint in 3.08 seconds. John Wall ran the 3/4 court sprint in 3.14.

Westbrook's time was second-fastest ever behind Derrick Rose (3.05), I believe.

FYI Jeremy Lin beat wall at the combine in whatever distance they use to test speed. That being said I'll take Westbrook.

Which combine? The NBA combine? Lin wasn't invited and did not attend the combine.

However, I read that at the Portsmouth Invitational, Lin's average speed was 16.66 miles/hour in the 3/4 court sprint, which would have translated to about a 3.07, faster than Russ.

Wall is still one of the fastest basketball players I've seen in person.

Westbrook is more explosive, which generally lends itself to faster running speeds

I'll take Darren Collison over both of them in a foot race.

Let's make it interesting. Race to solve an 8th grade math test first.
