Had a monster year. Not getting enough credit. Pro bowl voting is a sham and if you base a player's year on that alone you're not watching the games

Dolla.... I agree with you.

PP has had some great games, especially against Dez Bryant. But he's struggles this year. He's given up 731yards this year, which was the 13th most in the NFL out of CBs that played at least 25% of the snaps. And he's given up 8 TDs, whichh is the 2nd most in the NFL out of CBs that played at least 25%. He does have 3 INTs, which is solid. But he's also only had 3 passes defended total this hear which is 69th in the NFL out of all CBs to play 25%.

And the pro bowl is a joke... I mean the fans vote the players in. It's a popularity contest. PP is a popular player. Still a good player... But he struggled this year. PFF has him rated as the 76th best CB in the NFL this year. And I get that he shadows WR1 and all... But he hasn't done a good job at it. He was AWESOME vs Dez, and had some other good games, but he's been very up and down and has been torched a few games.

Still a great player loaded with talent and is still very young and will continue to improve. Hes already damn good and just gonna get better.

IMO the best NFL players from LSU are Kyle Williams, OBJ, Hill, Whitworth, and Ricky Jean Francois . That's just this season though. Perry Riley, Reid, TM, etc all have been good as well.

If you don't put Perry Riley on your list then you are not watching enough NFL football.

Not quite...he's probably going to have to have shoulder surgery during the offseason after playing injured this year.

quote:

As the 2014 season winds down, perhaps no player has come on stronger on Cleveland’s roster than Barkevious Mingo.

Said Mike Pettine after the win against the Falcons: “Mingo played one of his better games - probably his best game this year. I don’t think it showed up in the stats sheet, but he did a real nice job for us.”

Against the Colts, it was more of the same for Mingo. The stat sheet only shows two tackles and a sack, but it’s the other plays that the former first-round pick from LSU made that caught our eye.

That's good. I was really only asking. I had heard he was disappointing and I wanted to know the deal.

Whitworth is arguably the best player from LSU in the NFL right now. HE has given up 9 QB pressures ALL YEAR. Nine! He hasn't given up a sack or a hit on the QB since Week 2.

and some of yall are putting him down the list.
