It's hilarious how many people act so certain with their guesses. While he could definitely end up at UT, there hasn't been a single bit of evidence to support all of the posters acting like they know something. How many of you were claiming Speedy and Willis were trolling last year when they said they weren't coming here?

Ed Oliver and Ed Alexander alone is a stupid DT haul. The fact that we will sign another elite guy to go with 2 other DTs next year is crazy.

I see UT as a real threat here. My gut says the "business decision" pull of LSU will win out.

But to be surprised that Mack is taking visits to UT, under any circumstances (including committed to TAMU), is off-base; it shouldn't surprise anyone.

It's like a 4* or 5* recruit from NOLA that favors Tulane turning down an OV visit to LSU. It just ain't going to happen. And despite recent results, there is still a mystique that surrounds UT and a very slight negative aurora around TCU for Texas kids. It's tough to change mentality/perception in TX.

I will be honest. I was very skeptical of this whole Mack thing. The timing of the decommit and then claiming TCU and LSU are the leaders but after reading the write up from 247 on him I am starting to buy in. I cant see him saying some of the things he said unless he is really considering LSU. I just hate how he seems so influenced with the momentum.

I was referring to the article on 247 that made me feel we have a chance. He seems to have legit interest.

coming from you, that's not shocking...lol...you are the king of knee-jerk.

It's comical the way people get over recruiting. These kids get their 30 minutes in the lights, then many are never heard from again. As long as the media blows up recruiting the way they do, you will see these kids acting the way they do.....they love the spotlight, and their egos are huge and most think they are really that important...then they get to campus, and they are a nobody...lol

Who cares it's his choice. I would love to see him at lsu, but ultimately he has to decide where he would like to go play. People every year have to make this decision some decide on lsu some don't. Either way he has earned the opportunity to be able to go wherever he decides is the best fit for him.

Texas is getting his final official visit, and his good friend is going there, so I'm just going to assume that he'll probably end up at Texas. That we, if he does pick them, I can just be happy that he bolted from A&M, and if he comes to LSU, it'll be a pleasant surprise.

We really need some true blue chips in this class. This class while solid is weak compared to the previous ones that was loaded with blue chips.

Since he decommitted from tamu I thought Texas was truly the team to beat here. Time will tell. Also, I don't think he's "lying to the coaches" or doing anything particularly mischievous. Just a kid being a kid and probably enjoying the process. This board should have grown up a little more from last year I would have thought.
