No doubt some are paid, cool thing about shift work is that 2 or more employees can share an alias. Likely dem staffers. They're on here 24*7 and yet purport To know everything about everything. And you don't even want to know how fast they can fly into action if someone starts a thread with the word "gay" in the title, it's like a three alarm fire.

You seriously think there are paid operatives posting here?

So Issa releases the report right before Christmas because he got nothing.
" This staff report updates the five that precede it and details the Committee’s investigative findings as of the end of the 113th Congress. The fact-finding is not yet complete."
It's an end-of-session update, released by an outgoing chairman who no longer is involved with the House Committee conducting the investigation. Nothing more and nothing less.

Too bad Cruiserhog doesn't watch FOX news or he would have known that and wouldn't have made himself to look a bit silly.

For the record, my source is the committee itself and my own review of the text of the actual report, which is 226 pages long.

Maybe you should read the report instead of the la times and decide on your own

Two articles drawing the complete opposite conclusion from the same report. That's the point im trying to make.
And I'm sorry, I'm not reading 226 pages of a report. I actually value my time. My request is to have decent enough journalism where you don't have to read 226 pages.

Six reports thus far, and they are still looking for anything.
I suspect we will have 3-4 more until the '16 campaign kicks off and this will be dropped.

Then stop relying on the LA Times

quote:Are you serious? The IRS has admitted there were improprieties. The possible individuals responsible have been narrowed to a few. The personal correspondence of those individuals were mysteriously unavailable until recently. Those individuals have refused to cooperate with the investigation, and on has been found in contempt of Congress. Despite this, the Department of Justice has not conducted a meaningful criminal investigation.

quote:I suspect that more information will be found linking President Obama's advisors and the IRS people responsible for the improprieties. The Department of Justice will do nothing, and the lack of accountability for the IRS personnel and Obama advisors will be a major campaign issue in 2016.

IRS just "accidentally" seized Christine O'Donnell's bank accounts for a SECOND time.

"Thomas also explained her reaction to Lerner blaming “low-level” Cincinnati employees for the misconduct.
Thomas testified:
Q And what was your reaction to hearing the news?
A I was really, really mad.
Q Why?
A I feel as though Cincinnati employees and EO Determinations was basically thrown under a bus and that the Washington office wasn’t taking any responsibility for knowing about these applications, having been involved in them and being the ones to basically delay processing of the cases.
Q And you said that this was not the first time that you had heard Ms. Lerner use derogatory terms to refer to Cincinnati employees, is that correct?
A Yes.
Q Can you tell us about the other times that she referred to Cincinnati employees in a derogatory manner?
A I know she referred to us as backwater before. I don’t remember when that was. . . . She also makes comments like, well, you’re not a lawyer. And excuse me, I’m not a lawyer but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have something to bring to the table. I know a
lot more about IRS operations than she ever will. And just because I’m not a lawyer doesn’t mean I’m any less of a person or not as good a worker."
