have you been in a cave during the last 3 offensive coordinator's tenures? if not then you would know that that obviously the coordinators run the offense that miles wants to run and unless you have future NFL starters at the skill positions then it's a steaming pile of dookie on the field.

Of course he is fricking retarded....and likely a kid. It is hilarious how these guys think these offenses would work in the SEC......just blows my mind how stupid some posters are...and there are many that think like this tool.

. I would rather half way decent threads such as this than a bunch of people who just say "you're an idiot", "you're a pumper", "you're a negatiger". This board has significantly gone down since this has started happening.

the fact that you believe this is a decent thread removes any doubt about you.....congrats retard.

Wait a second.. I'm a retard for thinking a successful coach at a small school could succeed at a big time program?...

That makes sense. Never before has a no name coach made it in the SEC.

I'm not a retard. I promise you. I can tell you what you are: ignorant.

. You can't expect some of these LSU players to run the type of offense CCC wants.

But we already had the type of players fit for Cams offense. Same philosophy as Les. We're not going from the spread to the Power I. We're literally running the same offense Les has always implemented with the addition of a few different wrinkles from different OCs.

I'll give you the first three, but you are a damn fool to even begin to say the last two had ANYTHING to do with the defense.

Arky 4.06 yard per play. Bama 4.20 yard per play. Do you know how freaking good that is? We gave up 315 on 75 plays against Bama. We gave up 264 on 65 plays against Arky. Arky was at 10 points for the longest against us. Bama only had 13 points in regulation.

Don't be a dumbass.

There are few power five programs that run the pro style, so unless we go to a lower level school, our pickens are slim.

I only know NCST, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pittsburgh, UGA, FSU, Bama, Arky, Vandy and MSU (Mich St) off the top of my head.

Half of these teams are in transition for a new OC, and the other half are probably not guys any of us would want or want to go to be an OC somewhere else.

Mich state's OC has done well with Cook at QB and Langford is a star RB. He only has two years of OC experience and is not a QB coach so I don't think we'd go after him unless we fired somebody to bring in a QB coach. Would have loved to have Mike Bobo if Cam left despite what the Dawgs say about his crunch time play calling.

Ultimately, we'd need a pro style guy, who is also a good QB coach, with at least 3 years of OC duty somewhere on the D1 level. I don't think Miles goes straight spread, but that is a lot easier route in picking an OC.

I think the majority agrees with offense production or lack of it. But it doesn't matter who the offensive coordinator is, Miles will always call the shots!

Miles picks the plays that are going to be used every game. The offensive coordinator has to run those plays - he doesn't have a choice.

How do you know this? How many staff meetings have you attended? How many practices?
My bet is that you know NOTHING.

WTF? So we set records last year and this year we struggle with a new QB and we are declining?

Now I will concede it is Miles and company fault that we are in this situation with the QB position.

I'm not saying we should go and fire Cam. And I really don't understand how some above are asking about the losses that Marshall had. People are acting like Marshall has talent superior to Tech. They are a 12-1 team with an offense that scores and doesn't turn over the ball much.

It's considered a retarded question and you are now subject to some serious name calling because you dared question the Pumpers' Royal Family with a post that's similar to earlier ones. You also failed the Negas' by not being directly critical of Miles. I, for one, don't have any faith in this coaching staff's offensive abilities.
