If you had invested in Bitcoins on 1/1/14 you'd have gotten more of a haircut than you probably are considering. Is that enough of a Money Talk themed answer?

Is it well tended? Too many guys w longer hair don't keep it up. It needs regular trimming and shaping, esp if it is on the long side. Have you figured out how to style it for different looks? Any woman with longer hair can tell you that style must fit the occasion. Do you have a clue about product, or is it gooped on or skipped completely most days? In summary, long hair is a PlTA whether you are male or female. Do people notice your competence and communication skills first, or you "that IT dude with the hair?" Do you wear the hair, or does the hair wear you?

And that's whats wrong with America now days. Who cares what your hair looks like?

I know of a guy in the Lafayette area who always is un-shaven, t-shirt, shorts, and old shoes who is worth around 400 million dollars.

Doesn't matter what you look like...

?. Appearance matters less nowadays than ever before in corporate settings. Not so long ago, visible tats would have DQd an applicant in most fields. Ditto for long hair.

Regarding Mr 400 million, that's a whole different story. He can afford to look like whatever. But his style wouldn't get him hired as a high school math teacher at a private school, or as a suit salesman. Fit the look to the corporate culture. Few people are so talented/brilliant as to make their appearance irrelevant. If your company's clients want clean shaven and tidy, why make your job more difficult by being ungroomed?
