Awesome! McMillan appears to be the kind of recruit we want & need!

It all starts with confidence.

This is the absolute truth. Although my family were civilians, I grew up near an Army base. I can attest that these type young men do bust their arse, more so than any of my friends did. They all have a discpline and strict structure in their household that we were never used to. They pushed us to a whole new level.

That was a great read. The determination and work ethic that he seems to have, nobody may be able to keep this kid off the field in a few years.

Same for me. When we spoke that's the first thing I thought of. Brought me back to 2009. Really good kid.

As an EE, I guess if you did learn the playbook and excel at learning the game, you wouldn't mind starting if you did beat out the other 2 guys. I know it won't be easy, and I like the attitude of red shirting... It shows how smart you are already. But hey, you neva, neva, know.
You might be just what Cam wants and fits into our O.
I know we will see and hear from you more as a redshirt or who knows, maybe as a starter.

Maybe we really do have a double secret special project in the works with McMillan

frickin hell yea love this kid already!

How can you not love this kid's attitude? He's willing to sit a year to make sure he knows the playbook, that way when he gets his shot, he knows he'll make the most of it.

One of McMillan's WR teammates just followed me on Twitter. That's all I got

Said this before, but he's the perfect quarterback we need that isn't too highly rated and is willing to sit several years just for that one year of opportunity.
He could redshirt, then be a RS Senior by the time he is called upon and he will be so very well polished. Say one of the top quarterbacks next seasons comes to LSU, but leaves as a junior.. he can be that bridge guy to sustain LSU as a national power if things pan out right.
He doesn't seem to be a guy that will bolt in a year or two like several 4 star quarterbacks have done here recently. He has a great thought process here.

Apparently he showed out at a few camps, but like he said, LSU treated him with honesty and did not shy away from offering based on size or rating or other bs. He was able to do everything they asked of him. Many receivers said he was the best guy out there at LSU this past summer. He seems like a good kid with the right attitude. Best of luck to him.

This kid has it. He will do whatever it takes to win. I love that. Its hard to foresee what this kid will do in the future, but I have a feeling that when all the players huddle up during pregame warmups, he's one of the guys thats gonna be pumping the guys up.
