My phone rings. Shows my name. My number.
WTF?
Have I been hacked or spoofed? Didn't answer. Next step?

Call from the future. Probably going to warn you about something. You probably should have answered.

You should've answered to see if you were on the other end.

You should have answered the phone. It could be your "Fifth Dimension" version of yourself calling to give you an important message . . . something like "quit masturbating so damn much" or something like that.

Yep. This is the only logical answer.

it clearly wasn't important since you didn't leave yourself a message

The call was coming from inside the house.

There are hacker (Scam) sites that will allow someone to make their phone look like your phone - ID itself as you when they call.
Do not NEVER answer a phone call ID'ed as your phone number. There can be nothing good that will happen from that call.

Not surprised. I usually don't have much to say.

Do not never? So we should answer it?

Happened to me... was windows support company telling me about all the viruses and general nastiness that my computer was throwing off to the Internet because of "corruptions that have occurred from withing the veendows computer I am presently running".

Spoofed. I used to do it to my friends. You should probably answer because if you don't, they can get in to your voice mail and listen amd/or change settings. We used to change my buddy's greeting.
