His contact is up and he hasn't resigned. Several major DI schools definitely have interest in him.

If anyone gets paid it should be Frank. Sign him to a multi-year deal. He likes it here. He is home. He is very well paid. Should be no problem.

Could there assistants be waiting to re-sign until the Michigan job is filled?

Re-sign and resign mean two completely different things.

Only report I've seen of the assistants signing their extensions is here

LINK

And it only mentions ensminger, Haley, and Raymond as signing them.
quote:

Three LSU assistant coaches signed two-year contract extensions with the school, a source said.

Defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, tight ends coach Steve Ensminger and defensive line coach Brick Haley have signed their deals.

They were three of five position assistants who had contracts expiring in March. Recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson and receivers coach Adam Henry are the other two.

Five other LSU assistant coaches have contracts that expire at the end of this season: tight ends coach Steve Ensminger, running backs coach Frank Wilson, wide receivers coach Adam Henry, defensive line coach Brick Haley and defensive backs coach Corey Raymond.

NOLA.com reporting that all five of LSU's assistant coaches contracts are expiring. No mention that any of them have actually signed extensions yet. If I were them I wouldn't sign until I knew what the status of Les Miles was going to be quite honestly.

Adam Henry is probably waiting to see if any good NFL offers come his way. With the success of Odell beck ham and Jarvis Landry he may be hoping this reflects on him and the NFL brings him in as a receivers coach. Or at least can be used as leverage for a better deal.

I'm not a fan of his either, but I haven't seen anything that contradicts what he wrote.
