My wife makes something she calls protein bites (my kids call them muscle cookies)

They're made of peanut butter, agave nectar, oats, carob chips, protein powder (can use chocolate or vanilla).

I don't know the exact measurements but they're awesome. Roll them into balls and eat. They taste like raw cookie dough.

Again, 150 calories of a donut and a 150 calories of an apple with peanut butter are the same

Ever since I read this, I've been thinking about it... Are you sure they're the same? I mean yes, they equal the same amount of calories but aren't the calories of the apple and peanut butter a lot healthier for you? That would not actually make them the "same" would it? And I don't mean anything having to do with a sugar spike or anything I just mean the straight up calories.

Also, I wanna thank the person who suggested Almond Milk in fruit smoothies. I never thought I would like almond milk but it really does make good smoothies and I've also been drinking a glass of it plain every now and then because I just kinda like it.
