This is mine. We've made this since the early 1970s and when I bring these to parties, everyone acts like they've never had anything like this before. Maybe its more common in other places, but its nice to bring something unusual and everyone freaking love these things.

I made a double recipe yesterday: 162 balls and it took several hours to roll them since I kept getting distracted. No pics. I'll post some later today when I get home.

ORANGE BALLS
1 lb vanilla wafers mini work (make flour out of these by putting in a gallon ziplock and going over it repeatedly with a rolling pin)
1 stick butter
1 6oz can frozen orange juice
1 lb confectionary sugar
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Cream butter orange juice and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients. Smaller balls work better, drop into bowl of powdered sugar

Date nut candy. No recipe, sorry. It's a loaf/log, served in slices.
