We spend a lot of time disparaging government officials like Obama and entire agencies. We like to point out how they are ruining our nation and destroying the future for our children.

There's always pundits and political ads on TV telling us how certain politicians or policies will harm us. If some lunatic decides to kill a government official or enforcer then their blood will be on our hands.

So, let's just shut the board down and hopefully save lives. Don't question our overbearing government because 9/11. Never forget.

So we should sit back and do nothing like a herd of sheep? No thanks.

If a group of sheep is sitting back doing nothing then they aren't being herded.

I don't think "we" are in the streets commiting crimes and holding rallies chanting for the death of bureaucrats.

Actually, I think we should pass a law....If you say something negative about any government official or worker or government or sector of government and some insane person then kills someone related to your negative comment you should be prosecuted for inciting murder.

The problem is too many people think that ridicule = critique. Instead of solutions, what we get from many are snarky soundbites that do nothing but inflame others.

You can't just shut off such discourse in our country, even if it is only destructive. Instead people who can think beyond "I r troll, wheeeeeeeeee!!" should work to ignoring the trollbait and focusing just on finding the root of a problem and coming up with a solution. Will that happen? Probably not, but it really needs to.

It would be easier if we just brought the complainer into the street and killed them. There's really no need for a trial.

Now you're on to something.

At least these people with blood on their hands can still get sued in civil court by the families of the victims.
