Taped version of UFC 8 for me

The one that made me a real fan though was UFC 10. Bought the PPV that was in Birmingham, AL. The birth of GnP when Mark Coleman pounded out Don Frye. Frye's entire face was a bloody mess after about 5 minutes of almost continuous GnP. Tough SOB and I was completely hooked for life by the time it was done.

Pancrase?

These were tapes from events in Brazil, with no production value...just tapes from people in the stands as far as I could tell since most had camera movement. In amongst those videos were also some matches that were little more than BJJ, but allowed strikes on the feet. Basically he sent them to me so I could digitize them and put them on VCD and send back to him.

I did watch a little Pancrase in late 1990s but it turned into more of a pro-wrestling organization and that was not appealing.

I know he's a walking joke now (and has been for awhile), but Ken Shamrock was a BEAST in Pancrase.

But quite a few Pancrase fighters later went on to fight in full MMA rules. I liked Minoru Suzuki and Bas Rutten, they went on to fight in PFC/UFC. Ken Shamrock didn't seem to warrant the hype he was given in Pancrase, but at that time he was one of the more well rounded fighters.

I thought that he teamed with Octagon against Los Gringos Locos during When Worlds Collide

I joined the great sherdog site in the 2002-2004 timeframe. The posters in general are worse than the negatiger rantards. IMO I think jones striking is too diverse and will tko Cormier in the championship rounds. I would prefer it if Cormier wins. And if he had Gus's reach I'd say he would win easy.

That was a AAA show that WCW helped put on PPV.

Is bellator going to sign Alberto del rio? At least he has a winning mma record. Although his wins were against cans. Cro cop gave him a good beating

I know he wrestles for aaa. And he might be on lucha underground or Tna as well. If he stays with aaa exclusively he will probably be on the global force wrestling at some point as well. Another guy that wwe dropped the ball with towards the end of his wwe career.
