I was 16 in the 80's and I would have to say, while it was great, the 70's looked to be way more fun. Also, it depends on if you are talking about the early 80's or the late 80's, they are completely different times. Early 80's was more 70's like while the late 80's was more 90's like, plus there was the whole moving the drinking age to 21 mid-decade here in South Dakota. Kind of a big deal for teenagers.

I was 16 in 1969, living in L.A. The 60's ruled, at least in SoCal.
