I really love Marshawn Lynch as a player.

He also seems to be an alright dude but his media schtick is getting on my last fricking nerve.
Obviously he's done it for a while but the "Thanks for asking" shite was terrible. Just answer "frick You" instead. At least it'd be funny.

Agreed.
I have no idea why some people on here think it is cool and edgy how he treats the media. They are just doing their job. The media is overwhelmingly polite to the players and the players are usually willing and happy to speak.

I don't have a problem with it. The job of the media is to find controversy more than it is to report the facts. I find Lynch's attitude to be refreshing. May its appeal wear off? Possibly, but his refusal to give the media wiggle room doesn't bother me.

I'm surprised media access and mandatory interviews haven't been addressed by the players union during past negotiations. I disagree wholeheartedly with players having to be accessible. The media ruined Ricky Williams' career.
