And then watching that abomination in New Orleans, makes a fan want to cry. It's like somebody's idea of a sick joke.

Van Chancelor and Earl Thomas are phenomenal.

I wish we had a tandem like that.

We don't need that kind of defense. We would do wonders with a middle of the pack defense (when the offense isn't derping it up), and we can't even mange to sustain that.

Exactly.

We only need a team that is statistically average (consistently average), that can capitalize on opposing team's blunders (ie: get turnovers)

Sad thing is, I honestly thought pre-season we had put together the best pair of Safeties in the NFL. I still don't get how this defense could not do anything.

We're -11 turnover for the year. Pathetic.

defense outplayed the offense again today but keep tarding it up.

rob ryan was a better coach this year with less talent and more injuries than sean payton

Actually if the O line had just played average, or even somewhat below average, we probably would've won the division by 3-4 games, even with the same defense

Agreed. You can blame the defense. Surely their play has been bad, but the offensive line is the major problem with this team. We need to jettison Evans and Geubbs immediately. Too much salary for too little production. We have tied up way too much money in bad contracts. This draft has to be successful.

I'm honestly baffled that I keep reading this. Sure, the o line stunk but what about the d line? Pressure was non existent this year. They are awful!
