Shockey

Lol at this thread. For all you calling Graham a pussy - Shockey was one of the most brittle players in the nfl and he played a full 16 games once in his whole damn career.
Graham is a much much better player

Jeremy Shockey or Jimmy Graham
i think Graham has more TDs in the last 3 years than Shockey had for his career
Shockey has never had an 80 catch season. Graham has 3.
Shockey has never had a 1k yardage season, Graham has 2
Shockey has never caught more than 7 TDs in a season. Graham has 4x.
Thank you, Lester.
I'll take Graham. Shockey was gritty and brought attitude, but he wasn't the athlete that Jimmy is.

Shockey in his prim for sure

Ill take a 7th rounder that plays his arse off to keep his job over someone with a huge contracr thats all of a sudden afraid to take a hit

I'd like to see you take those hits with a bum shoulder, regardless of pay. I'm not saying Jimmy's the toughest cat out there, but I don't really hate him for being soft right now. He needed to sit and heal.
When he had a bum ankle last season he played well still. But you don't take nasty blows to ankles, typically. Shoulders get slammed all game long.

07-09 Shockey >>>>> present day Graham.

Jimmy got hurt for a while last year and still played out of his mind. The mysterious ways money will change you
People were making the exact same complaints last year. He has 10 td's this year and almost 80 catches again. He isn't having a bad year.

Shockey's best year in that stretch was 619 yards and 3 td's. That's 7 td's and over 200 yards less than this incomplete season by Graham that is being complained about, and it wasn't even with the Saints.

This thread is so stupid. I know everyone is pissed but lets be adults about it. Graham is a top 5 TE even hurt and tho he's underperformed he still is the best one to ever put on a uniform

Jimmy has always shown tendencies of being soft. Really showed through this year.
And Degree deodorant fricking sucks.

Shockey sucked.
Possibly the most over-rated TE in NFL history (as a pass receiver).
Graham is MUCH better (better hands), but I agree, he is a lot softer.
Both are over-rated, IMHO.

All that height, weight and muscle with nothing to show. He gets pushed around and taken down easily by light-weight DBs.
