That is cool, reminds me of an undergrad class I took and the professor was really old and should of retired and was not up on technology. Any way our classroom was unavailable one day so they moved us to an auditorium, this guy loved the chalk board but when we got in the new class there was chalk boards but no chalk . He is already frustrated because we are about 15 min late getting started, one of the students notices they have an overhead projector (yes I am old, this was way before PowerPoint) and pulls out a marker from her purse and suggests he use that, the old man looked dumbfounded, asks I can use this? then takes the marker and goes to town on the chalk board with it, and we were all too busy laughing and no one told him any better....as far as I know that chalk board still has our anatomy lesson on it

Try shaving cream. I don't know if it'll work on that but I've seen it do wonders on ink/graffiti on desks.

Hand sanitizer for the win, takes it off cleaner then writing back over it
