As long as we can stop 80 yard drives in the final minute of games I'll be sound as a pound.

People are really assuming Lacouture is the one to lose the starting job.

It isn't like Godchaux really out played him.

I like how valentine is gonna overtake Lacouture who happens to be the most seasoned player on the DL

You ever realized how the interior defense became better when Godchaux became a starter (and Beckwith) Lacoture will be first in the rotation

Because two solid DTs and a solid MLB is better than one solid DT.

Lacouture for Valentine and Rashard R. opposite Tre and you have your starters. Equaly exciting is the depth

DT: Gilmore, Bain, Thomas and Valentine
DE: Clark, Sione, and Lewis
MLB: Clfton G.
OLB: Feist, Duke
DB: Thomas, Battle, Voohries

Valentine hasn't played a single down. Therefore, Rant Logic would suggest that he is the GOAT.

Lac can't get penetration and plays with a high pad level. He's a good at plugging his gap, but that's about it. Godchaux is much better at getting into the backfield. Not only that, but Godchaux was a former 260 pound high school DE who was thrust into the DT spot as a true freshman.

DE1: Hunter, Teuhema
DE2: Bower, Neal
DT1: Godchaux, Valentine
DT2: LaCouture, Thomas/Lealaimatafao
WLB: Alexander, Jones
MLB: Beckwith, Garrett
SLB: Louis, Riley
CB: White, Tolliver
CB: Thomas, Paris
FS: Mills, Jefferson
SS: Adams, Thompson

That's gonna be good. If Rashard gets his academic house in order? Stacked.

Tolliver may start over Thomas, who likely continues as a nickel CB
