Dad built a metal building on a slab. What are some good gift ideas or things he may need for it?

I can go ahead and list a whole bunch of stationary tools, but that could get expensive. It would also help to know what he's into

Big mechanic's or machinist vice (American either used or new)
Drill press
Hydraulic press
Bench grinder/sander
Welding machine
Table saw
Compressor with tools
Block & tackle if he has an A-frame support
A bunch of uni-strut and brackets with a McMaster catalog
Stackable rolling tool boxes

Possibilities are endless

If you're not sure what he already has, this is one of the few cases I think a gift card to lowes/Home Depot is appropriate. That way when he starts using his shop, he can figure out what he needs and get it. What will the shop be used for mainly?

It's mainly for storage of atv boat hunting fishing gear and some tools.

Good ideas thanks!

Storage options are always great too. Shelves, storage cabinets, even table top working areas would be good.

I can waist serious time going through McMaster Carr' s catalog.

Go to lowes/hd and get him a few metal cabinets.

Eta: YOURADHERE beat me to it

Their website is bare bones, and I love it. So easy to navigate and order stuff. Only thing Grainger beats them on is having an actual store

We used to get all of our uni-strut from McMaster, but in a pinch, Lowe's has the smaller stuff

This. Full stock fridge. That is what all old men need and want. Hell, we love to buy our own tools most of the time.

I actually designed the workshop that I built around my beer fridge so that I'd still have room and accessibility for the other equipment without being cramped.
