I can see some sort of movement getting started and possibly happen. Could the NYPD actually force this scumbag to step down??

De Blasio is a leftist. He is immune to accountability. The media and the populace that voted him in will see to that.

So, no.

The real question is, what are the chances he is "persuaded" to resign?

True, but this guy has blood on his hands...It could happen if this escalates...

Absolutely zero.

No matter how many times you repeat this, it won't be true.

Doesn't matter.

That will soon be the fault of the right. Give it time. The narrative will be pushed today or tomorrow, and the usual suspects will be on the news again shouting from the rooftops.

There is a pattern here. Pay attention.

He's lost the moral high ground, and the power therein. He's become a legitimate target for public derision. And deep down...he knows that he'll have to choose between the Police...or the thugs. One more hit...and it really gets serious.

Of course, the above can be descriptive of Obama's situation too; he's in the same boat.

Stuff is changing fast. Anybody think that the "hands up/don't shoot" movement is going to drop their *justice* thing and lay down?

De Blasio is a bit of an a-hole.

Would it surprise anyone here to know that he was a big supporter of the Sandinistas? Off topic, I know.

Anyway, he won't be re-called, but it's not a complete stretch to think he may be a short termer.

Yes. They can stop enforcing the law. Think David Dinkins.

Zero. All but the working class NYers love him. (Ironic, since he is a "champion of the working man," no?)

New York elected him to fight the NYPD for one reason out of many.

Since NY wants to let the thugs run the city, the NYPD should all just refuse to o to work until the leftist sob is ousted.

I bet those idiots protesting the cops would stop once the chaos ensued.

Real question is when does he put together his team for a run at the WH? The left loves these kind of political figures that can't lead effectively.

0% chance

Unlike 18 other states in the nation, there is no recall system for voters in New York State to remove an elected official. The power to remove an elected official rests solely with the Governor.

Recalled? Dude, its New York. Those dumbass yankees will reelect him. Same people that thought it was a good idea to reelect racist Obama, remember.
