My friend Cosmo cooked me a 48 hour 130 degree brisket once. He prepared it while he bathed.

i did a brisket in the crock pot. turned out really tender and delicious

Cook mine for about ten hours, using wood. Trimmed brisket is what I go with. Only use two ingredients to season it with.

Definitely fool proof to do it this way, but no smokey flavor makes this boring.

I prefer it smoked.

I'm with Ruzil - A good cut of brisket has gotten expensive and should be properly cooked.
