never understood this myth. If it takes that long to "get in me" then why am I pissing it out 30 minutes later?

Yeah, I read a study not long ago that said you can go from de-hydrated to fully in 45 minutes

SS, several months ago I was in Nola and saw billboard ads and ads on the outside of the city buses for a nurse who will come to you to provide IV fluids for hangovers. Cost was like $75-150, but I can't recall exactly.

Have you seen that? Know anyone who has used them?

Those services give you a lot more than just a saline and water IV bag

Couple years back I know it was a big thing in some of the major cities. Like Vegas for bachelor parties and stuff. I wouldn't doubt nola has something similar by now.

I was actually turned on to it by a club chick from Houston that just happened to be a nurse. She would take a bunch home on the weekends for hangovers. She came party in nola one Mardi gras one year and the next morning she started breaking out the IV. Freaked me out at first and then I was like "let me in on that shite". Well we partied for like 4-5 days non-stop and I was able to wake up on barely any sleep and drink like a champ again after about a 30 min drip.

After that experience I talked a nurse friend of mine into getting me some more. I saved them for special occasions like Jazz Fest where I drank multiple days in the sun. But once I ran out I never really looked hard into acquiring any more. It's probably been 4-5 years since then.

My wife does home health. She's always got supplies in the back of her car. Might have to ask her, lol. They watch them like a hawk on what they use though.

Yeah I don't know what was all in the bag. If just saline or vitamins or what, but the shite worked... I would drink until like 5am and then be up for 8 or 9 headed back to the neutral ground like a champ day in day out.

I mean before I would buy out both Walgreens and cvs by my apt for pedialyte, but this stuff did me 10 times better.

There's no way that you could do this legally and be able to afford the insurance too.

Saw my gf years ago get hooked up with the bags when she was having a body migraine because she was dehydrated.

Ever since..every time I get a hangover including today it's all I desire.

SouthBendBob If an IV bag is just water, why am I paying so much for it? Is it just the "professionalism" of the med school drop outs sticking a needle in my arm? I can fill a big with water and prick myself to get over a hangover.

Sure or just blow air into your veins. Yeah try that and let know what happens.
