how's rondo look?
Looks like Carlisle's taking it easy on him tonight. Harris and Barea have gotten a lot of minutes, but when Rondo's been out there he's looked fine. He's not taking many shots, but he's almost got a double double with rebounds and assists.

He's going to fit in great, I'm afraid.

just goes to show how bad the Mavs actually are when they can't put away the D-League Spurs.
Dallas shot 32% in the first half, SA is 24/24 from the line and Dallas is still winning 97-92. Go take your bs assumptions elsewhere.

let's be honest, they're not gonna shoot <40% from the field often...

They will be fine. They do REALLY need to find a backup big man. Trade Barea, Harris, Villanueva, and/or Jefferson to get a decent backup big man. That is if anybody will take them. I really like Aminu and wish he could get more minutes. Getting rid of Jefferson would help that.

They are still 24/24 from the line and Dallas had one of their worst shooting halves of the season in the first half if not THE worst.

BS assumptions? Dude the Mavericks are winning 97-93 and the Spurs have the following on the bench:

Tiago Splitter, PF
Tim Duncan, PF
Tony Parker, PG
Danny Green, SG
Manu Ginobili, SG

My point was that the Mavericks should have won this game by 15+. Not barely by the skin of their teeth.

You clearly don't watch much NBA basketball. Unless you're playing the Sixers, you aren't gonna win by 15+ very often.

San Antonio does this all the damn time. I'm beginning to wonder if any of you watch the NBA outside of your favorite teams.

They don't sit this many guys rarely ever. Plus their winning % this season when they do is sub .500

Doesn't matter what the name on the jersey is if you shoot 100% from the line and play zone all night. Pop did a great coaching job as always. Haters gonna hate because Dallas didn't look like a 1 seed in their first game with a new point guard that has been to one whole practice.

And they lost tonight. I fail to see how this is relevant. If Dallas had lost, maybe. But they didn't.
