That would surpass any LSU melt over Miles ever.

Spurs fans on SpursTalk are insane--I guarantee there's probably like 3 threads saying such over there already

Pop takes resting players to a new level. that team will be so well conditioned come playoff time. Pop knows it doesn't matter what seed they are, they're gonna have to play a ridiculously good team. and maybe he doesn't want home court advantage to make it a bit harder this year to win.

Was literally listening to some Canon at the gym earlier today. Guy is so good.
He's been my favorite for years. Lecrae started challenging him for my favorite there for a bit after Overdose, but then Canon flowed "Good to Go". I was sold from then on. Lecrae got better as time went on, but Canon has always spit fire. I like Pr0 (Derek Minor) and Tedashii too.

As far as the new Canon EP, the whole album is on one youtube video, here.

This is why I'm a proponent of limiting the NBA season to 65-70 games. 82 over this time period is just overkill, especially with all the back to backs littering the schedule. Just makes for bad basketball, IMO.

Yeah this week has been brutal. Grizz play Cleveland tomorrow then the Jazz on Monday. That will end a 7 games in 11 days stretch, which included GSW, SAS, CHI, and CLE.

I hope they at least decide to go with the proposed idea of cutting the preseason short and starting the season a week or two earlier to help eliminate some of these back to backs.

Spell check screwed me. Mirotic* went 7/7. It was unreal.

But seriously though, that's something that fans of West teams on here have realized already. EVERYbody who makes the top 8 in the West can win it all, and that's not an exaggeration.

HCA really won't matter--gotta be healthy first, and execute second. Otherwise you might as well start tanking now.

I saw on the NBA TV that their backups just aren't winning games like they have been able to do so in the past for them, which is probably why their record isn't that great right now.

Plus the Spurs always seem to kick things into gear around late January or February.

Completely agree. Lecrae took awhile to come into his own, at least IMO.

Yep. Just making the playoffs in the West is reason to hang a banner. It's insane how stacked this conference is. Our division in particular.

So serious I cut my e-teeth on ST a decade ago. LSU fans are teddy bears compared to some of the lakers/pistons/loco spurs fans from back in the day over there

I like the format here better, though. Only post/peruse ST once in a blue moon nowadays.

i'm pretty much at the point where i realize the pels won't make it barring an injury to a superstar on one of the other top 9 teams, and that's fine as long as they remain competitive throughout the season, which they have for the most part. but seriously the 5,6,7, and 8 seeds could potentially win the opening round and i wouldn't be surprised. and Pop knows that. home court helps but it won't ultimately decide any of the series. i'm pretty excited for playoff basketball.

The Southwest Division of the Western Conference is analogous to the Western division of the SEC.

It's crazy. The West is always deep, but it's really been stupid the last 2-3 years. That's why I'm not picking my Spurs to come out of the West this year. They'll have to surprise me. I wouldn't have picked them to come out two years in a row, much less three.

Yeah, we've also had friendlier schedules/fewer early season injuries the past few years. Not so much this year.

Between injuries/age/championship malaise/nasty schedule, I figured we'd stumble a bit out of the gate this year. Obviously I didn't quite forsee this many injuries, but that's the breaks (MEM sure isn't going to show any sympathy after last year ).

Just get healthy. That's all I want. Don't even much care if we fall in the 6-8 seed range if we have the gang back together and gelling.
