I was 2 or 3 so I don't remember but from what my parents told me it was a VERY big deal. I was told the CDC and the county health department came out and tested everyone I had contact with and then tracked all of the places I had been. Turns out their conclusion was I got it at the YMCA pool in Downtown Phoenix. I am fine and everything but I guess if I ever get a TB test I could possibly die, I have no idea why but that is what my doctors have told me, so that is the only thing I have to watch out for.

I've taken a bunch of TB test and from what I understand they actually shoot up dead TB cells under your skin and if it gets infected it means you have been infected by TB before since you will have some sort of immunity and your blood cells will attack it. If the area doesn't get infected then that means your body doesn't recognize it implying you haven't ever been exposed to TB before....

I'm no medical doc so someone could clear that up or tell me I have no idea wtf in talking about haha

Hah no. Again, I read the statistics you attempted to manipulate. I didn't post them because they are actually legitimate, the car wrecks and accidents aren't. That's why they were posted.

I would never argue against that. Try to stay on track.

It's an antigen the inject under your skin, a protein, not dead cells.

And it isn't an infection if positive, it is an immune response to the antigen.

What? People who have been infected with TB are why the test was created. It would make no sense if it would kill you.

I mean Dr Scruffy, was i on the right track at least? And not so much as an infection but I knlw 2 days after the injection you need to check to see if it turns red, which isn't good lol

You were on the right track.

It is your body responding to what it believes is an infection at the site.

Like I said I have no idea, I just remember doctors telling me that when I was little and obviously it isn't something I was going to forget. Ill ask my mom about it the next time I talk to her and see if she knows. Maybe I dreamed it but I am pretty sure I was told that, if not I have lived in fear of one for nothing

I've probably had 100 TB test in my life. No lie. When I was on probation they made you take a test to attend any function or class. And if you missed a class you had to get a TB test to attend again. I would literally have to take a new TB test the day after getting one read sometimes. It was so stupid. They must have had a TB problem or something.

These cop shootings are a result of the media and general population belief in protesting against the police and portraying them as racist while they do an extraordinarily difficult job. I know not all cops are great guys, some are arrogant abusive assholes that get off on the power trip. But it is a very fine line.

I blame Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Eric Holder, Barrak Obama and anyone else that helped fan the flames of the Michael Brown and the other guys that recently died as a result of "police negligence" while handling people that break the law.

The national media has an anti-police / racism agenda. They pick and choose and cherrypick every story or case involving any possibility of racism that results in injury, harm or death. Yellow Journalism is all it is. If we had anyone with any balls in the White House, he would take a stand about this and stop the social instability. The general public are sheep and believe anything they hear on Facebook or the Internet without checking on any of the facts. They are just being manipulated by the media. It's infuriating and sad. All the while, blacks kill each other in droves daily in the name of the drug trade. Every time a white guy gets beaten or killed by blacks, no special attention is given, It's infuriating and sad.

Does the reason matter? The officers are still dead. There are 2 families in NY suffering the loss of their loved one. It is tragic.

It is also tragic anytime a family has to suffer the death of their member. It is a tragedy when it is a cop and a tragedy when a cop was involved in the death.

Some on this board only think it is a tragedy when it is a police officer that is dead, but not when the cops are the one one's responsible for the death.

It's always a tragedy when someone dies even if the person who dies causes his own death.
