I am craving boudin. All of it is frozen. I have always thawed it in the fridge, but don't feel like waiting. Have any of you thawed it in the microwave before?

I usually just run water on things if I want to thaw them out quickly

That's what you'd think.
But microwave is so much more efficient.
When is defrosts, change the microwave setting to high.
Perfect every time.

Thaw it out on the defrost setting. Shouldn't be a problem. Jones, I'm surprised LL lets you be so edgy.

When I saw jones letting meat defrost under running water, I also got nervous. Can't lie.

I went ahead and thawed it in the microwave. This is the Bily's boudin I picked up the other day. Can't wait to tear into it.
