What should I cook first? I tried the jambalaya recipe from the cookbook up top in a friends pot and the taste was there but I messed up the rice. Bummer I know, but what are some suggestions to break in my new pot? It's a preseasoned 9 quart Dutch oven.

ETA: I'm very new to cooking but want to learn. I even printed the entire cookbook from up top, and have been studying it all week. I need something easy to build some confidence haha

takes awhile to get rice down, and especially can be tricky in a jambo. My recommendation is that you season it before you cook anything like this
