Has anyone ever been to an Opera House? Where should I sit?

We are looking at buying tickets to Once (Off-Broadway) for the whole family for the day after Christmas. I know what good sports seats are, but I am clueless in this department. Basically everything is available for about the same price except for the Opera level in the middle (which we won't be doing).

I'd hate to grab the B seats when being high and on the side is better (since you are closer to the stage). Does anyone know where I should actually want to be?

What? I think telling you to sit in a box is a pretty damn good suggestion! If not, the front-middle of A obviously.

Mezzanine is definitely Zone D. Also, the club seats are expensive! And completely sold out. Sorry for calling you useless.

I've only been to oeras at Lincoln center, and I assume every opera house is different. I've sat in the equivalent of zones A, B, and C on your chart. Zone A was my favorite, but not too close. Maybe row 15-20.

Is this at Winspear Opera House?
It's a fairly small venue.
Just aim for a center of the row seat.

At first glance I thought it said Opra's house...I thought, "Damn, who the hell would have ever been to Opra's house".

I like mezzanine seats to either side but not in the center. That's what I try to get for opera and ballet performances.

My old man has Dallas Opera season tickets(not tight). Anyway, the place is small so I doesn't really matter. Try to get seats front row on a balcony so your kids don't have to look over people and shite.
