Now, a prominent Chicago radio station host is saying the reason the Bears have benched Jay Cutler is because they have a deal lined up with the Tennessee Titans.

@EricTheMix Sources tell me Cutler to Tennessee Titans is a real deal...part of reason he sits...to avoid injury before deal is finished. #hearditfirst

Another franchise with a shitty O-line and incompetent staff. The coaches want him so they can blame him for all of the organization's failures in 3 years.

They can trade their No 1 pick and really go into the tank.

By rule I don't take radio show hosts as legitimate sources

they must not think much of Mett.

There is no way I could handle being a fan of that franchise reading this.

I think its a good move for the Titans

1) ESPN said the Bears were looking for a 7th round pick for Cutler

2) His contract wouldn't be bad for the Titans, Bears have to eat the dead money not them. Next four years his contract is $15.5m, $16m, $12.5m, $13m.

Yeah i dont think its that bad assuming the bears are eating most of the contract.

Cutler would be best off in Buffalo, imo.

He truly is the Jeff George of this generation. Every coaching staff thinks they can make him into an elite QB.

Dumb move. Cutler is what he is. You're not going to change that. Now maybe you give him a better supporting cast and run game and that's something but that's almost any mediocre QB.

Mett is Cutler without the suck and with less experience.

Cutler threw for 4500 yards and made the pro bowl his second year as a starter in Denver. I fully expect Mett to surpass that within the next two years

I'm waiting on him to do what Jeff George did in a game for the Colts one time.

the Colts fans were booing Jeff George repeatedly so he started motioning for them to get louder.

I forgot who they were playing but I remember laughing.
