i also had never heard of this Sturgill fella until this thread, listening now.

they are different types of music... kinda hard to compare.

Sturgill is country, Isbell is not

oh and Isbell wins this debate

eta: after listening to more of Sturgill, I really like it. Voice sounds like Waylon, dude really jams too.
