First, he's from Bossier. Not Shreveport. Believe it or not there is a difference.

Typical Bossierite inferiority complex shining through.

I grew up there, jackhole. I know all about your stupid cookie cutter racist community. I played for Shreve, and Parkway was our b!tch back in the day. F Bossier and everybody in it.

I grew up and graduated in Shreveport, but I haven't lived in Louisiana since 1999.So you can throw out that people from Shreveport argument. He's from Bossier last I checked the 2 places don't claim each other.
When it comes to the eye test; Jennings just doesn't have it. He has peaked to the best of his potential. Now if you are cool with a qb completing 11-13 passes a game Jennings is your guy. But if you believe that you need more than that to win he needs to be pulled. It's not so much about Harris, it's the fact that Jennings is so bad.

I,m from Shreveport area. I don't think BH was ready, nor was AJ. Truth is LSU was weak at QB, maybe another year of spring ball etc will fix.

Where do you see this? The infatuation with Harris has as much to do with Jennings failure as it does with Harris's promising future

I live in Shreveport. Doesn't matter if Harris is from here or Alaska or anywhere in between. His ability to throw the football is on a different level than Jennings. All you have to do is look at the NM St game. Both QBs played against inferior competition. One lit it up and one kept throwing it to the other team. Harris may be in the doghouse, but Shreveport people have seen him torch teams here, have seen his maturity in countless tv interviews, and just simply want to see the hometown boy do well. Nothing wrong with that.

There was a short paragraph about Harris in the N.O.Times Picayune yesterday, part of a story covering a variety of LSU related matters. Sorry, not able to provide a link, but in yesterday's sports section. One of his coaches in the Elite 11 Competition was quoted as saying that "Harris was ALWAYS claiming that he had not been coached up in h.school", in effect, "giving an excuse for his poor performance at the competition. Coach questioned if this was a reflection of Harris' ability to be a leader on the field & in the locker room in college. Granted, this was over a year & a half ago.

So after his one start, Jennings gets the job back and gets a total of 11 starts on the year. Pretty bad sample size to come to the conclusion that Jennings is definitely the correct answer

but that ISN'T the sample size. that's the whole point. if you base the qb starting position SOLELY on performance in one game and ignore other situations, other factors (maturity, leadership, etc) and practice you are a pretty bad football coach.

North La is RIGHT. If not B Harris then the next back up. On the decision to play AJ resulted in, an Offense that Ranked AMONG the WORST in all of College Football, A QB that Ranked among the Worst at his position in the Country and the bottom of the SEC. Our Full Back Melvin Jones a High School QB would have been just as good or better!!! That is how bad this position was this year. Miles don't care cause he is not held accountable for anything. IF IN 09-10 when our offense ranked 107th nationally or 2010-2011 Ranked 83rd/2011-2013 ranked 84th/2013-2014 ranked 88th, If in any of those years LESS MILES would have been held ACCOUNTABLE you would have seen MILES go to the more talented QB B Harris and not play his pets.

So instead of questioning our coach, we throw a player under the bus with bullshite rumors. I remember Beckwith was an a-hole who didn't work hard enough either at one point. Turns out the coaches just whiffed

The coaches didn't whiff. Your proof that they whiffed is that Beckwith played well when the coaches thought he was good enough to play well
Pretty stupid when you shine the light at it.
