When they could easily type out fantasies. I believe 75% of what I read from people on here. Minus the blatant bullshite. How much do you believe?

Not having to be concerned about people connecting ideals and thoughts portrayed in anonymity to who you are in the real world.

Take the tipping thread, everyone was happy to talk about how they feel about the tipping habits of black people, but those same people wouldnt put that shite in a facebook status because they dont want to be labeled as a racist, even though it could be argued that its a pretty legitimate stereotype

and we're not as anonymous as we think

The perceived lack of repercussions for whatever is said.

I don't feel like TD is very anonymous. I still don't believe anything on here.

Most people are overly judgmental, so they fear being judged by their peers. This causes people to be a bit dishonest. Anonymity eliminates this factor, hence more honesty.

We are more honest when we don't fear being judged. Our bartenders, barbers, and prostitutes do not judge us so much as our other peers do, so we're more honest with them.

Men do not judge each other as much as women judge each other. This is why men are more honest than women, by and large.

Yes it works but I would tell that to anyone, anonymous or not. I certainly wasn't "compelled" to tell people about it just because most of you don't know me IRL.
