Best place to rent a skid steer

I need it in Abita. I called United Rentals, but they're delivery charge was $150 both ways. That's more than the dang rental. I have a trailer but don't have chains to secure it. I don't even know if the trailer would be rated high enough to carry it anyway.

Those little things are heavy. I think the smallest ones are like 5000 lbs. I doubt they will let you transport it without proper equipment.

They normally rent them and you have to use their trailer.
OP, I think Home Depot has smaller ones. Other than that, call rental places like Sunbelt or smaller places (can't think of any in Mandeville)

+1 for Volvo rents/Blue Line rental on 190 (Collins Blvd).

I've never heard them demand either way. They are heavy, but can prob be hauled on a standard trailer with 5k lb axles. I use the 7k lb axles to haul mine on everyday and it's no issue but I've gone with a lighter trailer before.

AAA Rent All in Gonzales has them. They also let you use the trailer with the rental usually.
