You would over take him with the quickness.

In the car as we watched the A-4's take off, my mother began to say the rosary.

"You praying for Dad and his men, Mom?" I asked her.

"No, son. I'm praying for the repose of the souls of the Cuban pilots they're going to kill."

Later I would ask my father what his squadron's mission was during the Missile Crisis.

"To clear the air of MIGS over Cuba," he said.

"You think you could've done it?"

The Great Santini answered, "There wouldn't have been a bluebird flying over that island, son."

Fear not America. Despite the attempts to turn this country into a nation of cock smokers and trans-cis-gendered whatnots, there will always be a certain indispensable amount of babies born who won't shirk from a fight.

Overrated, IMHO.
Cubans are a forbidden fruit thing. I've had Dominicans that were just as good if not better.
Oh... they are totally overrated with this mythical image that they have become.
But, that doesn't mean that Cuba doesn't produce some damn fine cigars.

However, they are really good and it's not just the forbidden fruit effect. They are not forbidden to everyone. Virtually everyone in the world besides US travelers has access to them.
However, a lot of it has to do with personal preference, but I'll admit that there isn't a huge gap between cigar nationalities.
I typically prefer Nicaraguan over Dominican, but that doesn't necessarily mean that someone else has the same opinion.

Just like some grape varietals from certain regions make better wine, cigars are better from some places versus others.
And the Cubans that I've had when out of the country have been just as good if not better than any cigar I've had from Nicaragua or the DR.

I'm just saying that I think it's stupid that US consumers don't have access to the Cuban products and don't have the choice as to whether they prefer Cubans or not.
