Anyone ever see any shows at the Goat Heads Soup in Houston? Saw Pennywise and the Offspring there in the early 90's (all ages show, we were high school kids amazed at the mosh pit)

Houston International Ballroom off 90 just south of the Astrodome? It was a converted K-mart I think. Black Crowes played there mid 90's

It was some kind of old Big Box or grocery store, KMart, Kroger something like that, but i saw the Black Crows there, circa 94, 95, i think it was the Amorica tour (the CD with a close up of some bikini crotch and full bush )

Yeah it was Amorica. I remember being shocked they were playing there. I think I drove straight from Starkville bc I didn't have classes with any finals and finished up lab work early so I could make it. It could have been me but it felt like an oven in there.

I saw Live with Weezer at Numbers, just before both blew up, it was Live's throwing Cooper tour. The only Weezer song we knew was the Sweater Song at that point, but I bought the CD that week.

Wow!!

Only remember that place because I was the last of my buddies to turn 21. Got in there as they were known to not "card". I start pounding beer. Place was kinda dead so my buddies wanted to leave. I was PISSED the rest of the night with black X's.

I saw The Cult at one of those old grocery store venues.

Anyone remember Blue Planet? On Richmond I believe. Saw Violent Femmes at one of their parking lot/block parties. People tried to mosh to them

Even dumber. Lisa Loeb was an opener and people tried to mosh there.

No. But loved that song. Have the CD too

It never gets played. At 41 I feel foolish listening to it.

I remember seeing a group at the longhorn in Toomey. About 1992. It was 4 girls. Same style music. 4 girls singing and spanking each other with a riding crop and other implements. It was the hottest non tit bar act I had ever seen. Can anyone help with the groups name? Just 4 girls. All synth/pop/club music.
