Let's compare LSU's next opponent to it's last

I look at the matchup against Notre Dame and I see a team very similar to Texas A&M. The obvious difference being Notre Dame's QB is more experienced and more mobile. Both teams want to spread the ball out on offense and try to create match ups in space. LSU and Chavis have a history of being VERY good at stopping this kind of attack (Auburn this season being a huge outlier). The two teams put up similar numbers offensively this season. Notre Dame is slightly more ground oriented due to Golson's ability to run the football. I don't think their receivers will cause any problems for our DB's, allowing our linebackers to focus on stopping the run. Will Fuller is the only potential playmaker they have outside. The running backs are much like A&m's, mostly meh. We will need to pressure their young QB and try to force Golson into becoming a turnover machine (which shouldn't be too difficult.)
Notre Dame has a much better defensive gameplan than A&M uses, but with all the injuries I'm not sure it will make a difference. Statistically, they have been better at stopping the run. I still think with our O-line and Fournette and gang coming at them all day long we can run right over them. I am interested to see how our read-option game has developed since Thanksgiving night and whether we can work some playaction passes into that look. I suspect Jennings will have another solid, not spectacular performance. Look for close to 300 yards rushing in this one. We'll see what his job security (or lack of) looks like heading into the offseason. I expect at least 1 big play each out of Malichi, Diarse, and Dural.
Hopefully our kicking game gets back on track. I see LSU pulling away in the second half by just simply wearing them down. I liked the gameplan against A&M, I think it works well in this matchup too.
LSU 27- ND 13.
What say you?

If we score more points than ND we should win

Auburn'a ability to stretch the field with Williams and Coates is the wrinkle Notre Dame lacks to be able to move the ball on us like Auburn.
This should be a beat down similar to what we saw at A&M. Ignore the final score at A&M - that was a beat down.

ND wears Gold helmets
They live up North
They have lots of slow white boys
They have lost 4 games in a row maybe 5
aTm - fans stand up for the entire game and grab their left nut - not sure what the girls do ?
They live in Texas
They don't play D
They both will lose to LSU

Really depends on gameplan and QB execution, if it's good to great we win 38-17 if not then its like 21-13 LSU. I think we stop the run first and foremost and make their QB beat us which will be tough to do passing the ball.

Should have said;
One already lost the other will lose to LSU - makes more sense!

Last LSU game of the year, I'm not sorry about being excited for it.

Nor am I tlsu15, LSU needs this win in my mind. A loss will mean they will tie with two other teams(2002 and 2008) for the worse record this century. ND is a team LSU should beat.
LSU is 5-5 against ND all time.
