I have a Garmin that I like. I think any of the name brands are going to be about equal. Get one with a big screen.

garmin are the only units I have ever purchased. get a unit that has free software and traffic updates - for life. they have gotten ridiculous cheap in price over the years. If you are using it for a large vehicle you might want to step up and buy a unit with a very large screen.
