I know most will pick the 2006 team and 2011 team. Outside of those two I really loved the 2001 team. That is when we locked down the top recruits from louisiana, tiger stadium was alive, and the beginning of winning here at lsu. We had some tough losses to Florida and ole miss at home and tenn on the road. This team didn't give up and nobody could stop josh reed and I miss Rohan. The offense was fun and we were starting to play lsu defense besides cornerback hookfin. We got payback and ruined tenn title hopes and we won our first bcs bowl game . I can't forget everybody wanted saban fired after the ole miss game lol

2001 is one of my favorites of all time.

Began the ascension to elite level.

Love that team.

2011 team

Is there any other answer?

I might've retired as a football fan if we had won the championship that year. No season would've ever beaten that one.

2011!

i went to most games including wva and or.
it was the greatest time of my life.
i still have 2011 sec champs on my bumper (proudly.)

i was and am very brokenhearted about the mulligan, but after watching the unfairness of the sec regarding al and aub for the last 60 years, i was estatic about the tigahs!

p.s. the intelligence of the coaching was extra!
lm was a genius until he had to play al again!

I know it's not on the same level but I loved the 1997 team. We couldn't pass worth a damn but nobody could stop the 4 headed monster of Cecil collins, Kevin Faulk, herb Tyler, and rondel mealy. We had 2 heartbreakers against auburn and ole miss but never forget beating Florida and seeing Steve spurrier in disgust. I thought the magic was back for good and 1998 we were pre ranked #6 and we scored 38 points per game but ole Lou tepper ruined it for us but at least 1997 year was similar to this year record but it was more exciting

It was an amazing game and a half that their careers all overlapped.

The Dalton Hilliard and Arnsbarger teams of the 80's. The great 14 tie game with Ohio State, when State delayed coming out of the locker room. The Orange bowl against Nebraska.

1969; Never forget the darn Archie kid putting a dagger in my 13 yo heart! But the classic 21-20 W vs AU and the last W 20-15 over BB and Gumps in TS in what seem like forever and attended with my dad. Then the blasted Irish denying us a shot @ UT; we still owe them for!

1998 baseball we should have won. We were guerrilla ball then a cold front came and the ball didn't travel as far as the first two games in omeha.

2011.

We beat something like 5 or 6 top 5 or top 10 teams.

Oregon, Bama, Arkansas, West Virginia, were all in at least the top 10, I know the first 3 were top 5.

That was an incredible season.
